I am really glad I stumbled across these guys, as [EDITED] had let me down badly recently with their constant screwups.
They seem on the ball at all times. My questions are answered promptly and politely, and I am never made to feel like an incompetent newbee.
They set my account up real fast and so far (been with them about a month), everything is soooo much better than it was at my last host.
I can sleep at nite now without nightmares about my site breaking or loosing all my data.

Been with hostgator for over a year now. My site has been down a couple of times, and as i run an ecommerce site, I really need it to be up as much as possible, since downtime equals lost $$$, I called support and they were having a problem with one of their boxes, and were fixing it.
it took a little longer to get my site up than I would have hoped, but this appears to have bene an isolted problem and apart from this, hostgator haven't disappointed me at all. Good stuff.

Can't comment on customer service as ive never needed to use them. Web site runs fine, no problems. I'm on the "baby" plan and it's great. Dont need anything more!

My sites used to be hosted by another hosting company that had a fair reputation on the hosting forums out there. My own experience with my previous host wasn't good though. Bottom line is that I failed to heed the early warning signs I received and kept on using them for far too long. To this day, they still have problems.
Host Gator has so far provided everything I need in a host - they are reliable, dependable, fast and the plans all come with great features as standard.
