I think globat are a second-rate company. My experience with customer services has not been a happy one.
I was contacted about my site using too much resource, but not given enough time to work out a solution before it was suspended.
I tried to call there support, but they didn't seem to want to know and just tried to make me pay more for a different plan, with no gurantee that it would fix the problem anyway.

Now I have to find another host who will not treat me this way.
You might have more luck than I did

Globat appear to be going downhill recently. When I joined, everything seemed fine.
As soon as my website started to get a lot of traffic, I was told I would need to move to a higher priced plan, despite the fact that my transfer was well below the limit!!
It seems like the lower priced plans are only there to "tempt" you - if you are serious about your website and don't want to feel like you were conned, my advice is to look elsewhere as these guys suck.

I think all hosts nowdays are all very similar will little to separate them all.
From my point of view, globat seemed to offer enough for my pretty basic site, and the $50 Overture credit is a nice little bonus!
The site was configured pretty quickly and wihtout incident.
I just joined recently, but so far everything seems to be going smoothly.

This is a case of getting what you pay for. If you opt for the lowest price plan, expect your website to crawl. I've also had trouble with Emails getting lost, going down and general unreliability issues that are not really acceptable.
Plus, I paid for a year in advance and cant get my money back.
There are better hosts out there.

Tech support is ok, although phone support is patchy at times.

After many bad experiences with other hosting providers we found Globat and decided to try them since their offer of space, traffic, etc. for that price was excellent.
At first we were sceptical and unsure if Globat could accomplish quality hosting at such low prices, but now, after several months, our answer is "YES" - Globat is well up to the task.
There were no downtimes and only very few problems, which their around-the-clock support solved immediately while always being very friendly.
We have moved two other sites to Globat.com. We trust them with our business and recommended Globat to our partners and everyone we know!

I can always count on Glob@t to be there when I need them. No problems at all so far. Seem to ge an amazing amount for the money. I spend a long while comparing reviews before deciding to go with Glob@t, and I think I got a great deal. Can't see how hosting could be much cheaper than this. A+

The gigbyte package is great value for money - less than 5 bucks a month for 75GB of transfer is hard to beat!
I've never come close to using even a quarter of it. Top host, top value!
